Premarital Therapy Services

Typical First Session​
Before your first session, you and your partner will complete the Prepare/Enrich assessment separately. After a brief period of introductions, we will analyze the results together in the first session, and I will help you determine areas of growth in your relationship.​ We will make a plan together to address these areas so you have your best foot forward as you begin this new era of your relationship. In the first session, we will also review confidentiality and my no secrets policy.

In successive sessions, I will use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques paired with the knowledge gleaned from the Prepare/Enrich assessment so you and your partner will learn the communication skills necessary to create and maintain a relationship based on trust, safety, and love.
